Frog Plays His Videogames

Alternate take of the set I performed at the WR/OLL/VP party on March 7. Something about playing videogames. Those rhythms and forms, sounds and attitudes. Digital cultures. Here are the things I played/sampled, in roughly this order:

Saria's Song (Variation)
Mondre M.A.N. - laptop (link lost)
disco bass

&& TRIGGERED THROUGHOUT:

bfxr jam
J.S. Joust "Go!"
Dyad airhorn
Proteus trees

Five Music Games (Music for Games 4)

WORMS PRESENT: Nodeland Dreams & Memories

Proteus, a game/musical wilderness environment that I've been working on over the last 2 years, is now up for pre-order. It'll be finished and released soon enough; in the meantime, if you'd like to play, the pre-order comes with the current beta version for Windows, which is totally playable, just not as rich with content as it will be eventually.

The pre-order also comes with the EP pictured above, reinterpretations of music from the game.
